We started the year with Welcome. This year we hosted 100 events with over 10,000 students attending them; from mingles to plant potting, street tours to club nights and everything in between.
We welcomed over 13,000 students to our Welcome Fair and were delighted to host the Lord Mayor and Vice Chancellor as well as our 350+ student groups, 100 businesses, charities and University departments.
This year we:
• Improved the accessibility information available on our events
• Introduced quiet spaces at each of our events
• Improved our entry to the Welcome Fair to make sure there were no queues!
• Had a Voi park at the Welcome Fair to improve transport available
