Your Student Living Officer Ruth Day successfully lobbied the University to agree to a rent rebate scheme. Students who were not able to be in residence in university halls, and who were unable to travel due to the national lockdown were eligible for extensive rent rebates. The value of these rebates across the year is estimated to be around £13 million.

Ruth also managed to secure no-penalty covid tenancy contract releases for students who felt that it was better for their physical and mental health to not live in University accommodation.

Hello. There would normally be an officer here but you're seeing this instead. Lucky you.
