One of the things we’ve focused on is increasing inclusion, and conversations about inclusion, within sport.
In February we teamed up with Sport, Exercise and Health for a series of LGBT+ B:Active sessions. These sessions were part of the Rainbow Laces campaign, which aims to highlight LGBT+ individuals and allyship in sporting communities. We also distributed Rainbow Laces to our sports clubs for them to show their commitment to allyship.
We also hosted “Being Black in Football” which featured your Sport and Student Development Officer in conversation with Robbie Lyle (founder of AFTV which is the largest football fan in channel in the world).
