The Black Students’ Network aims to provide a home and safe space for Black students at the University, and to support existing networks and societies to ensure the diverse experience of BME students is addressed all year round.
The creation of the Network will allow for better representation of our diverse student community, and will help to ensure the advancement and wellbeing of Black students at the University of Bristol.
The proposal to create this new network was ratified at Student Council in June, and the committee took their positions from November 2020, with the support of Jason (Equality, Liberation and Access Officer) and Julio (Union Affairs Officer).
